Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Tech II, III to join their client's team in Scotts Valley, California. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop a technical career within a supportive and innovative manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble a variety of equipment with minimal supervision, reporting to the production manager and receiving direction from the production lead.
  • Communicate with quality assurance for required inspections and address any issues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the production workspace.
  • Understand and configure component installations using BOM, drawings, and schematics.
  • Perform wiring of assemblies independently.
  • Effectively communicate issues with documents and perform in-process inspections.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and general housekeeping procedures.
  • Read and follow written instructions, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Utilize basic computer skills for information retrieval.
  • Stand and walk for a minimum of 2.5 hours at a time.
  • Locate and verify information within the MRP system.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of related experience in manufacturing or a similar field.
  • Ability to read and work from mechanical and wiring diagrams, as well as written instructions.
  • Willingness to learn troubleshooting skills for electrical diagrams.
  • Capability to understand and configure components per instructions, drawings, and schematics.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to perform rework on mechanical and electrical assemblies.
  • Familiarity with various electrical tools, including meters, crimping tools, and mechanical hand tools.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
